My thoughts on the lesson:
It was a lovely and very small get together last Thursday. But it was great! I must confess, I was surprised at the challenge this layout turned out to be. The technique is a valuable one, because it is functional. You will soon realise that NOTHING gets thrown away - scraps of paper always come in handy. It would be perfect to use these scraps for this type of layout. We also learned the art of "quick and easy stitching" on paper, and how to use your steel ruler, craft knife and mat properly. The latter can not be taught in one lesson, it takes practice!
It was exciting to start on the techniques book which Marie introduced. 26+ techniques to learn! It will change the way you look at crafting.
For those who don't know, this is Marie. She is a Wife, Mother and Teacher by day, and a Scrap-a-holic by night and in any other time she has spare! It is a wonderful priveledge to have her teach Scrapbooking at Jack's!
